Samsung is preparing multiple phones for next year. After launching the Galaxy S25 next month, the company may launch new Galaxy A series phones, including the Galaxy A56.
45W Galaxy A56 Phone Battery Charging
Samsung brings 45W charging to mid-range phones for the first time with the Galaxy M55
Galaxy A56 comes with an updated Bluetooth version
The unreleased Galaxy A56 recently appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database with the model number SM-A566B_DS. It features Bluetooth 5.4, an upgrade over the Galaxy A55’s Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
This is expected, as the Exynos 1580 chip on board the Galaxy A56 has integrated Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
Bluetooth 5.4 provides more reliable wireless connections and improves power efficiency. So whether you’re using wireless headphones, Galaxy SmartTags, or Galaxy Watch, the Galaxy A56 can provide a more stable and reliable connection with these accessories.
It was previously reported that the Galaxy A56 will have other upgrades, including 45W fast charging and longer software update support. It also comes with the Exynos 1580 chip, which has four high-performance CPU cores and an upgraded Xclipse 540 GPU.
Excellent performance is not the only thing on the Galaxy A55’s impressive feature list, but as usual, Samsung decided to save some upgrades for future models. Some of these upgrades will be available on the Galaxy A56 next year, and two of them are particularly exciting.
Regulatory certification has confirmed that the Galaxy A56 Smartphone Battery
will also support 45W charging. The 25W charging speed of the Galaxy A55 and older mid-range phones is not slow by any means. The 45W charging speed is not as fast as you would expect compared to 25W. But it is still a welcome upgrade, especially in the face of competition from other brands of phones that support 100W charging and higher. Then, in October, Samsung launched the budget-oriented Galaxy A16 and promised to provide six years of operating system and security updates, and most future budget and mid-range Galaxy phones, including the Galaxy A56, will also receive at least six years of firmware support. Basically, you can use the A56 until at least 2031 without worrying about software obsolescence. The A55, on the other hand, will stop updating in this decade, as it will only receive four major Android operating system upgrades and five years of security updates.
