The Xperia Z3+ sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display, and based on these numbers alone, it appears to be the same as its predecessor. However, Sony claims the new panel is brighter than the already excellent unit on the Z3. The display comes with many of Sony’s proprietary features, including Triluminous technology for a wider color gamut and X-reality Engine that dynamically enhances images. If you’re not satisfied with the default output, you can adjust the white balance manually.
The Xperia Z3+ touchscreen also responds completely satisfactorily to wet fingers. The Z3 isn’t completely incapable, but the behavior on the Z3+ is more consistent and reliable.
Smart backlight control detects when you’re holding your smartphone and prevents it from going into standby. Leave it on the desk, though, and the preset inactivity intervals take over.
When we first got our hands on the Xperia Z3+, we quickly noticed the band of dots covering the entire screen area, and the more observant among you noticed this too. They’re clearly visible both in studio photos and in action, and they even sparkle in the sun when you’re out and about. The Xperia Z3, on the other hand, doesn’t have any of that. We’re guessing that’s the price users have to pay for improved wet-finger touch operation. Our micrographs are expected to show an RGB arrangement with equal numbers of red, green, and blue subpixels.

Well, our own display testing on the Xperia Z3+ shows that while the display itself is pretty bright, it still doesn’t quite live up to the standards set by its predecessor. That said, no other flagship can match the Xperia Z3+’s numbers at 100% settings. Contrast is also high, but not as high as on the Xperia Z3, as whites are less bright and blacks are slightly more illuminated. One area of improvement is daylight contrast. It certainly can’t compete with AMOLED, but it’s better than both the HTC One M9 and the LG G4. Rest of the connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/ n/ ac with support for MIMO for faster connection speeds and Wi-Fi Direct. There is also support for Bluetooth v4.1 with A2DP and apt-X, GPS and GLONASS, and FM radio with RDS. There’s also NFC connectivity, with support for Android Beam, for sending files to other Android devices.
The ultra-low-power ANT+ connectivity protocol handles connections to a variety of sports accessories, such as heart rate monitors or bicycle speed and cadence meters.
There is a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data connectivity. Supports media transfer mode to access your phone’s built-in memory and microSD card via USB.
The microUSB 2.0 port can also be used in USB On-the-go mode for connecting USB peripherals such as a pen drive, keyboard, or a true USB hard drive.
The port also supports

MHL, allowing you to connect the Xperia Z3+ to your TV, and if you have a compatible HDTV, you can output your phone’s screen wirelessly via the Miracast protocol.Sony Xperia Z3+ smartphone batterylife testSony has equipped the Xperia Z3+ with a 2930mAh Sony Xperia Z3+ smartphone battery. The capacity is lower than that of the Z3, which is also the result of the slimming process. Still, the company insists the phone will offer two days of uptime. Our Testing proved this to be the case, but the results were pretty mediocre compared to the Sony Xperia Z3 and even worse compared to the pre-production Xperia Z3+ device we’ve been testing for a while Back. The former has a battery life of 85 hours, while the latter has a battery life of 74 hours.

Our retail Sony Xperia Z3+ got a 65-hour battery life rating, which included 16 hours of talk time, nearly 12 hours of browsing, but a weak 7 hours and 46 minutes of video, and a final average of 200 hours of standby time.
As always, if you need more Smartphone Battery Sony life and are willing to sacrifice features to get it, you can engage in one of the endurance modes, which we’ll discuss in more detail in the software section.
