With Apple’s App Tracking Transparency tool, iPhone users can decide whether they want apps to share information with third parties. However, it’s easy to forget which apps you’ve allowed to track your activity, especially if you want to be more private.

While Apple asks to allow apps to keep an eye on you when you first open an app, there are better ways to stop individual apps from tracking your activity on other companies’ apps and websites. Here’s how to find out what apps are tracking you on your iPhone.

How to Find Out Which Apps Are Tracking You on iPhone
The Tracking menu in Settings on your iPhone allows you to individually disable all apps that you have previously allowed to track you. Even better, you can automatically deny requests for every new app you download. This is a convenient way to easily opt out of app tracking features if you prefer to stay private.

Follow the steps below to find out which apps are still tracking you and deny or grant them access.

  1. On your iPhone, go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Privacy.
  3. Near the top, tap Tracking.
  4. The Tracking menu will display a list of apps that may be tracking you. Click the toggle button next to the app you want to grant or deny app tracking permission to.

It’s that simple. If you don’t want to download any new apps to track your activity, turning off the “Allow apps to request tracking” toggle will automatically deny new app tracking requests.
