Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the much-anticipated Mi Pad 7 series, the successor to the successful Pad 6 series. The new series is expected to have two models: Mi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro. The Pro model has already appeared on China’s 3C certification as well as Singapore’s IMDA database. Now, tipster DCS (Digital Chat Station) has revealed some key details about these upcoming tablets.
According to a recent Weibo post by DCS, the Mi Pad 7 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, an 11-inch 144Hz 3K LCD display, and a 10,000mAh Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 Battery Earlier reports claimed that the Pad 7 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and a 144Hz OLED display.The Mi Pad 7 Pro battery capacity and charging speed of the Mi Pad 7 Pro tablet are expected to be the same as the standard Pad 7. DSC also revealed that both tablets will be equipped with HyperOS 2.0 and are expected to be released at the same time as the Xiaomi Mi 15 series.
Previously, these tablets were rumored to debut in the third quarter of 2024, but are now expected to be launched in October alongside the Xiaomi Mi 15 series. The two tablets will be launched in the Chinese market first and may enter the global market later. Since the Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 Pro has passed the IMDA certification in Singapore, we at least know that the brand plans to ship these tablets outside of China at some point.
