What’s new in the iQOO Z9 Turbo+?
The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is a more expensive version of the iQOO Z9 Turbo and iQOO Z9, which debuted in China in April. The Turbo+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, replacing the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on the regular Turbo and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 on the regular iQOO Z9.
Both the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ and iQOO Z9 Turbo come with a 50MP + 8MP dual camera and a 16MP front camera for selfies. The iQOO Z9, however, comes with a 50MP + 2MP dual camera and a 16MP selfie camera. TheiQOO Z9 battery capacity is upgraded from 6,000mAh on the iQOO Z9 and Z9 Turbo to a larger 6,400mAh on the Z9 Turbo+.
The latest member of the iQOO Z9 series, the Z9 Turbo+, was launched in China today. It dbrings several changes compared to the iQOO Z9 Turbo, including a different chipset, a larger iQOO phone battery, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and improved intrusion protection. The Z9 Turbo+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, replacing the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on the Z9 Turbo. The new phone also comes with a 6,400 mAh silicon-carbon battery for “super long”iQOO Z9 Turbo+ phone battery life, with up to 16.4 hours of online video playback on the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ phone. The new battery still offers up to 80W wired charging. You also get IP65 water and dust resistance, which is higher than the IP64 rating on the iQOO Z9 Turbo.
The rest of the specifications, from the 6.78-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 144Hz) to the cameras (50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and 16MP selfie camera), are the same for both Z9 Turbo models. The new phones also run OriginOS 4 based on Android 14.
