All other components have been reasonably updated too, so you also get a 512GB PCIe 4 SSD, a fingerprint scanner and a 1080p webcam. The last two features are ones you won’t find on some more expensive laptops.
HP Pavilion SE 14 review: Verdict
For £450, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the HP Pavilion SE 14. Performance is decent, there are unexpected premium features like a 1080p webcam and powerful speakers, all packed into a stylish, sturdy body.
The life could be longer, the display could be better, but it’s more about value for money than exceeding expectations. As a versatile laptop for home, school or work, the HP Pavilion SE 14 ticks all the boxes.
